Aliança pela Ação Climática

Representing: 68 local governments, companies, investors, faith and civil society organizations across Brazil.

Alliance for Climate Action - Brazil (ACA-Brazil) mobilizes business leaders, investors, local and state authorities, religious entities, civil society organizations and youth. Founding national partner organizations supporting this alliance include CBC, CDP, ICLEI, ICS, WWF Brazil with support from AVINA Foundation, ABEMA, Engajamundo, FNP, IEC, IPC, ISER, Purpose and RAPS.

The purpose of the alliance is to complement the existing ecosystem of climate action in Brazil by bringing these actors together to ramp up climate action and faster implementation through collaboration; to engage the Brazilian public on the urgency and benefits of climate action powered by strong analytics; and to support policy conditions that can accelerate Brazil's transition to a resilient net-zero society for the benefit of all Brazilians, in full alignment with the Paris Agreement. Together, ACA-Brazil will mobilize efforts to halve emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
