Better Futures Australia

Representing: Over seven million Australians and more than $218.8 billion in economic activity.

Better Futures Australia (BFA) is a network of 115 climate leaders from every sector of society and the economy – finance, business, resources, agriculture, health, faith communities, local and state governments, First Nations, unions, social services, the community sector and more. Some of the leading signatories include BioPak, KeepCup, Ironbark Sustainability, Vulcan Energy, City of Adelaide, Indigenous Energy Australia, United Workers Union, Climate Justice Union, among others BFA is supported by national partners including Climate Action Network Australia (CANA), WWF-Australia, ClimateWorks Australia, Investor Group on Climate Change, ICLEI Oceania, The Climate Group, CDP, C40 Cities and AVINA Foundation, among others.

Signatories are committed to leading by example and working together to champion Australia’s transition to net zero emissions before 2050 and to collectively urge the Australian Federal Government to set emissions targets in line with the Paris Agreement. These signatories are part of a network of hundreds of climate champions, ambassadors and partners from every sector of Australian society and the economy, representing over seven million Australians and more than $220 billion in economic activity.
